The island:
Malta is located in the Mediterranean Sea between Sicily and Africa. The island nation consists of the main island of Malta and the two islets of Gozo and Comino. Maltese is the official language alongside English, and Italian is widely understood and often spoken. The coastline offers cliffs with bizarre rock formations and excellent diving spots, but also beautiful sandy beaches with windsurfing and water sports stations and smooth rock formations for sunbathing.
Malta in summer:
Pure Mediterranean feeling, sun loungers and parasols are clearly the focus. No rain, almost never a cloud in the sky. The sea water has a pleasant temperature of 22-24 degrees. When it gets a little cooler in the evening, we play hockey under floodlights.
Our hockey philosophy:
In hockey, licensed coaches and Bundesliga players offer you a varied programme every day. They are mostly still young, are fully immersed in the Bundesliga and, above all, are good at demonstrating and explaining the exercises. The focus here is clearly on technique and fun. Sometimes a tablet PC is also used to record your exercises and then discuss them immediately.
There are always a few Maltese hockey players of your age taking part, so you can also test your English language skills on the hockey pitch.

English language course:
The English course is very different from school at home. At the beginning, you will be assessed. A test will determine what you already know. You will then be assigned to a group that matches your level of English. The advantage of this is that everyone in the group has roughly the same level of English. You will then speak and write English at this level, learn new vocabulary and become more confident in using the English language.
There is no homework and no grammar tests. Instead, you will have fun conversing in English and you will notice how much more confident you become after just a few lessons. You can try this out straight away in Malta, as the official language on the island is accent-free English.
Our leisure programme includes, among other things (examples):
- Visit the capital city of Valletta with its narrow streets and lively shopping street.
- Cinema (in English, of course), the film will be adapted to suit your English skills.
- Bowling against the neighbouring room.
- Visit Mdina, the old Arab fortress in the interior of the island with a superb view over the whole island. There you will find the most delicious cakes in Malta at Cafe Fontanella.
- We drive to the most beautiful sandy beaches in Malta
- Shopping in the shopping mall in Sliema
- Take a powerboat to the blue lagoon on the rocky island of Comino with crystal-clear Mediterranean water
- Action at laser tag or go-karting
- Visit "Splash and Fun", Malta's only water park
Our Malta holiday is an "all-inclusive package". Practically the only additional costs are pocket money and, if applicable, fees for sports equipment.

- Flight arrival and departure, including airport transfer in Malta
- 1 or 2 weeks of hockey (depending on the travel period), both weeks including leisure programme
